Use the following instructions to install Servertec Persistent Object Store on Windows 9x/Me/NT/2000/2003/XP.

  1. Install .NET Framework version 1.1.x or later.

  2. Extract setup_pos_dotnet.zip file to C:\.

  3. Define the following environment variable in c:\autoexec.bat file.

    set PATH = pos_path\bin;%PATH%

    pos_path the directory where the server was installed, normally c:\pos.net.

  4. Restart the computer.
