08/20/2004 RegistryKey.close() does not properly close the associated native handle. This bug affects RegistryKey, EventLog and EventLogRecord.

This problem has been resolved in SFC 1.3.1 09/07/2004.

09/08/2002 stec.sfc.Win32.EventLog.get() throws stec.sfc.Win32.Win32Exception:87 when retrieving records from large event logs.

This error occurs because of a bug in WIN32 API when randomly accessing the event log.

Added stec.sfc.Win32.EventLog.next() and stec.sfc.Win32.EventLog.previous() to sequentually access the event log.

04/24/2002 stec.sfc.Win32.EventLog cannot access the Security Event Log nor the System Event Log.

Applications that attempt to log to the Security or the System Event Logs will fail with stec.sfc.Win32.Win32Exception: 1314 or with stec.sfc.Win32.Win32Exception: 5.

This limitation is imposed by the WIN32 API.
