Date Description Status
02/25/2005 Not all browsers send cookie information to servers whose name are not compliant with RFC 1034 and RFC 1035.

For example servers whose name contains an underscore ("_").

This issue will affect the ability to use features such as cookie based sessions.

Info
11/19/2003 Request headers were incorrectly case sensitive.

This problem has been resolved in version 2.1.2 12/01/2003.

Fixed
05/18/2001 Servertec Internet Server 1.10.1 04/29/2001 sends an extra response header when PrintWriter is used after the response is sent when the PrintWriter is closed.

This problem affects Servlets using Response.getWriter().

This problem has been resolved in version 1.10.2 06/03/2001.

Fixed
04/27/2001 When make_iws makes release JemBuilder will incorrectly complain that an opcode invokespecial of stack type stec/iws/Request does not match argument type javax/servlet/ServletRequest of invoked method javax/servlet/http/HttpServlet.service() called by stec/iws/RequestHandler.process_servlet() in RequestHandler.java.

The resultant bin file appears to load and run without any problems.

This problem does not occur with aJile Development Kit version 3.9.

Closed
04/20/2001 Performance maybe improved when running Servertec Internet Server aJile Edition from Charade by enabling Direct System.out to this serial port in JemBuilder when building the server.

To do so, from JemBuilder select Project, then Drivers. Once in Project Drivers dialog, select com1 from Available Drivers and then press the -> button to add the driver to the Installed Drivers. Once com1 has been added to the Installed Drivers, select JVM0, then select Drivers, then com1 and then from Serial Port Driver Options enable Direct System.out to this serial port. Then select File, then Save Project and then select Project and then Build. After the server is built run Charade and select File, then Execute and enter iws_dir\build\load.sod. Once the server has been loaded start a Web browser and enter: http://hostname:8080/index.html.

iws_dir - The directory where Servertec Internet Server was installed, normally c:\ajile_iws.

hostname - The name of the aJile computer.

Info
04/20/2001 URL redirect does not always function.

This problem will result in the server sending a URL redirect response to the client and the client not making a further request to the server for the redirected item.

Open
04/20/2001 Client authentication does not always function.

This problem will result in the server replying that the client is not authorized to view the protected page or Servlet and the client not responding with its credentials.

Open
04/20/2001 Often the main thread is road-blocked by the JVM while waiting for the server socket.

This problem negativelty impacts the server overall performance, since the server does not process the client's request until the server is notified of the request.
